Digital transformation encompasses of various interdependent changes driven by technological infrastructure. An organization’s ability to not only survive digital transformation but excel will depend on its ability to manage complex changes with a specific determined strategy. Digital transformation is a more holistic view, in that it not only focuses on digitalizing but also focuses on how to implement these changes throughout an organization. It engages the entire company and the people that make up the company, rather than just the processes.
The study reflects a conceptual paper that identifies and explores the prospects of assets digitalization that lead to better internal control for an organization in the current superhighway of information technology driven environment.
