In times of peace and conflict, the Qur'an's verses and the Sunnah of the prophet are concerned on protecting children's rights, and they have acknowledged the rights that are unique to children and fitting for them. In order to safeguard the child's dignity, this research strives to uncover the Qur'anic verses and the Sunnah of the Prophet that explained the child's protection and care. Data were collected from authoritative sources and then analyzed descriptively, in order to arrive at accurate results and have a thorough comprehension of the issue. The study has shown that the Quranic verses and the Sunnah of the Prophet covered every right of the child, guaranteeing that he is fully looked after and protected in a way that preserves his human dignity.
