In recent decades, forming international joint venture ventures with foreign partners have become popular vehicle to get an excellent opportunity for developing market’ firms to access capabilities and knowledge. In Algeria, However, the statistics from world economic forum 2018 show there is lack of knowledge. Based on practical and theoretical issues, Therefore, the authors in this conceptual paper proposed conceptual framework with its literature review to consolidates and annotates a research on transfer mechanisms (replication and adaptation) and formal mechanisms (contract and control) that influence on IJV’ knowledge acquisition. Which in turn lead to IJV’ innovativeness. In addition, the paper ended by suggesting a methodology and recommendation for future studies.
