The study aims concerns with examining the effect of the emotional labour on the turnover intention with moderating effect of social support in the relationship between emotional labour on the turnover intention. The study applied a cross-sectional method which this requires from researcher collecting the data only once from staff of five-star hotel in Amman at different positions. For data analysis, the study conducts Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) procedure using SPSS-AMOS-V.21 through a technique that combines factor analysis, structural model, and path analysis to achieve study objectives. The findings show a significant positive effect between emotional labour and turnover intention in the Jordanian hotel industry, and the social support moderates the relationship between emotional labour and turnover intention in the Jordanian hotel industry. Thus, the study recommends for management strategies to mitigate the effects of emotional labor, the hotels are adopting strategies such as providing emotional intelligence training, which equips employees with the skills to deal with their emotions more effectively.
