Research on Emotional Education in Junior High School Art: A Visual Analysis and Evolutionary Overview

Open access
This study employs the CiteSpace visualization analysis tool to construct a knowledge map of domestic research on emotional education in junior high school art. It analyzes the developmental trajectory, core research hotspots, and future frontier trends in this field, providing references for subsequent theoretical research and teaching practice. A total of 353 documents published from 2007 to 2025 with the theme of "junior high school art + emotional education" were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database and used as the analytical sample after screening. Bibliometric and knowledge map visualization analyses were conducted using CiteSpace. The publication volume in this field exhibits an "inverted V-shaped" fluctuation. The research evolution has passed through four stages: theoretical foundation, perspective differentiation, policy-focused convergence, and value regression. "Patriotic sentiment" and "integration pathways" have emerged as recent research frontiers. This analysis has essentially clarified the research landscape of this field, providing traceable clues for future researchers' groundwork and for frontline teachers seeking to improve their teaching practices.
