The Impact of Digital Transformation on Logistics Management at Jordanian Pharmaceutical Companies

This study aimed to examine the impact of digital transformation with its dimensions (digital strategy, digital capabilities, and digital infrastructure), on logistics management with its dimensions (supply, storage, and transportation) at Jordanian pharmaceutical companies. The study was conducted among top and middle managers in these companies through an electronically distributed questionnaire using a comprehensive survey method, (197) questionnaires were received and deemed valid for statistical analysis, (SPSS) program was used to process data. The study concluded that digital transformation and logistics management are of high relative importance at Jordanian pharmaceutical companies. The results indicated a significant impact of digital transformation on logistics management and its dimensions (supply, storage, and transportation) at Jordanian pharmaceutical companies.
The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: enhancing digital infrastructure by continuously upgrading technical systems to ensure reliability, security, and integration of logistics systems, thereby driving business growth.
