Analysis of the Role of Quality Management in Creating Knowledge Management Value Chain

Nowadays, with expansion of knowledge in organizations, effective knowledge management in line with the goals of organizations has a special importance.? Creation of knowledge management infrastructure to better control and monitor organizational knowledge is also considered very important.? ?
This study takes a people-oriented approach to quality management and investigates the effects of three dimensions of senior management commitment and leadership; staff competency enhancement programs, and ? customer orientation on creation of knowledge management (KM) value chain. ?
The results indicated that in all three dimensions examined, there were significant relationship between quality management and creation of knowledge management infrastructure in organizations. Investigation of correlation between quality management variables and KM value chain showed a higher correlation between senior management's commitment and leadership and KM value chain. The importance of senior management's commitment and leadership in organizations is emphasized ? ? in the area of creating a knowledge management infrastructure. This study is an attempt to investigate the effects of quality management systems on creating organizational knowledge management infrastructure.?
