The Arabic language has been a cornerstone in the establishment and perpetuation of Islamic civilization, playing an indispensable role in the cultural, intellectual, and spiritual development of Muslim societies. Despite contemporary misconceptions about the relevance of language in civilisation, Arabic remains deeply intertwined with the Islamic faith and civilisation. This paper examines the unique status of Arabic, its historical significance in Islamic thought and knowledge, and the vital role it continues to play in preserving and advancing Islamic civilisation. Through a descriptive and analytical approach, this study highlights the centrality of Arabic in uniting the Islamic world and its ongoing significance in contemporary civilizational development.
