Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a critical life-saving intervention that improves survival during cardiac emergencies. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured CPR training programme in enhancing awareness and perceived readiness among secondary school students. A quantitative pre–post quasi-experimental design was employed involving 122 participants. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measuring knowledge, skill, attitude, and aspiration. A paired-sample t-test was used for analysis. The results showed significant improvements across all domains, with mean scores increasing from 2.0–2.7 to 4.6–4.8 (t = 31.35, p < 0.001). The findings suggest that the training was associated with enhanced awareness, perceived competence, and willingness to respond to emergencies. This study contributes to the literature by providing a multidimensional evaluation of CPR training effectiveness among secondary school students. The findings support the integration of CPR training into school education to strengthen community emergency preparedness.
