Horezu area means an area of local tourist interest, at a national and international level. However, tourism has not yet reached an optimal exploitation, imposed by the tourist potential of this zone. The purpose of this investigation aims to the assessment of the touristic potential of the area, analyzing the terms and opportunities for the recovery and development of this potential and the perception of tourists and their degree of satisfaction for tourist services offered. The Assessment of the touristic potential is a necessity, a first step with a view to the completion of a strategy for the development and promotion, which will contribute to the full development of tourism in this area.
